Fibroid 4 Cm
Pelvic ultrasound results...what does this mean?
I will be seeing gynecology next week, but I was wondering what some of my results mean.
"a predominantly hypoechoic, solid, well defined mass measured at 3.4 x 4.2 x 3.2 cm. There is internal vascularity observed within this mass. It abuts and displaces of the endometrium"
Impression: Single solid myometrial mass that is probably a degenerating fibroid

The ultrasound found something in your uterus, but the doctor thinks it is just fibroids. In other words, it is not life-threatening, like a cancerous tumor would be. (Good news!)
On the other hand, a degenerating fibroid can cause pain and pressure, so it is probably something you will want to have treated. It's just not a critical emergency in the same way that a cancerous mass would be.
