Fibroid Breast Disease
I have a lump on my spine in my mid back. What could it be?
A couple days ago my back started hurting in the middle of my spine. I did not feel anything there, just pain. About 2 hours later a big lump started to develop, about the size of a grape. The site was red and really hurt when touched. No pain in lower back or down my legs. I went to the E.R. the next day and they did an x-ray to make sure it wasn't a herniated disk. The x-ray and blood work came back ok. The doc said it was probably a skin infection and gave me an antibiotic and some Vicodin. My mom (who's an R.N.) said she was concerned because the doc didn't culture it. Well today it's no smaller and still hurts really bad and it's starting to bruise. April 2 my gynocologist found a lump in my armpit and my right breast possibly has some kind of fibroid disease. I'm going in for a mammogram tomorrow. Could the lump in my back possibly have something to do with what's going on with my breast?
You need to see your regular doctor ASAP! They are most likely connected.
