Fibroid Leg Pain
Abdominal Pain? What could it be?
I realize there's hundreds of questions here about abdominal pain, but everyone is a little bit different.
I've been having dull to suddenly sharp pain in my lower right abdomen, and occasionally pain between the lower abdomen and bellybutton. Today is the third consecutive day of pain. There's no fever, a bit of problems with bowel movements, and some lightheaded feeling. It's much more painful while I'm laying down or sitting,but getting up hurts as well. Sometimes the pain radiates down my right leg, and there's some back pain, but I believe that's normal. Touching and pushing on the abdomen makes no pain suddenly.
I'm 17, with an irregular cycle, and had an ovarian fibroid.

#2 Surgery…
The two most common surgical procedures performed to treat uterine fibroids are hysterectomy and a myomectomy. As usual they both come with advantages and disadvantages. The hysterectomy involves the removal of the uterus. That would make it an absolute cure for uterine fibroids. That is the advantage. The disadvantage is that this makes it impossible for you to have any children in future. Where myomectomy is concerned, only the fibroids are removed. This allows the uterus to remain intact in cases there is a need for childbearing in future. That is the advantage. The disadvantage is that the uterine fibroids could reoccur.
#3 Additional Treatments…
Other treatments are available that can cure uterine fibroids including, but not limited to, the following; uterine artery embolization which is a procedure performed by an interventional radiologist and Endometrial ablation which is a process that is performed to stop the bleeding.
