Non ovarian Fibroid Tumors?

Inhave two fibriod tumors about the size of an orange. Very annoying as one is on my right hip and causes me a great deal of discomfort sleeping. Are these removable and how can I find a doctor to remove them. This one particular tumor seemed to develop in a matter of 4 days to a week.

They can be removed easily. Any good surgeon would do it. Fibroid tumors are one of the most common tumors in people especially women. Do you have a primary care DR? If so, she/he can direct you and especially if it hurts so much. On the hip, wow, that's really got to hurt. I hope you get it taken care of soon. Be blessed.

A Mother's Day Letter

A Mother's Day Letter

By Stacey Newson

Dear Mom,

My gift to you, are the words that I am about to say, and they come from my heart.  Finding the right words and the right way to say them is hard, but I will say them anyway. The first thing that I want to say is that I love you and no one else can ever take your place.   I know that we do not always see everything eye to eye and sometimes it seems as if we do not speak the same language, but there is a bond between us that keeps us close.   I  enjoy our little talks and the late night chats, and  I hope that you enjoy them too.

I have so many memories that I would like to talk about and show my appreciation.  Two things in particular that come to mind.  Do you remember about eight years ago, I had to have surgery?   I went to the doctor and came home with shocking news.  There was something that I had been avoiding for years and I could not put it off anymore.  The doctor told me that I had multiple fibroid ovarian tumors and they needed to be removed.  The tumors were the size of a basketball, and growing rapidly.  The first thing that I thought about was that I needed my mother.  All kinds of thoughts were running through my mind.  I remember thinking that I could go into the hospital and not come home.  I felt as if something was wrong with me and I did not know what to do.  Knowing that whatever I go through, you will always be there.  If I need someone to hold my hand, sit at my bedside, you will be there.  Knowing that your mother is around makes everything okay.

You have said that no one calls their mother until they need something  I don't think that is true, but anyway.  There is one other incident that happened that meant a lot to me.  It was when the company that I was employed with for six years decided to relocate to another city.  I talked with you and told you that I needed to come home and you opened up your heart, and you home to me..

All the things that you have done your family, you really deserve more.  I can not  say all that I need to say in this letter, but I do want you to know that I love you.

Love,

Stacey
