That depend on the surgical procedure. If the doctor uses a transabdominal incision, then the hymen may not tear. A transvaginal myomectomy can certainly tear the hymen.
Transvaginal sonography could possibly tear the hymen, but if you are worried, tell the doctor that you are a virgin and would rather have a transrectal than a transvaginal scan. The view would just be the same, but instead of inserting a vaginal probe, he will be using a rectal probe (which is smaller).
