Fibroid Size Of An Orange
hysterectomy.. will she be ok?
My mother was having some bleeding problems during her period. Well she passed out and then we got her in the emergency room. Well, they said she has a Fibroid the size of an orange. She is getting a hysterectomy surgery tomorrow as well.
Will she be ok?
My former boss had the same situation. She had two large fibroids, and they preformed a partial hysterectomy (they removed her uterus only). She was just fine, after about two months off work for recovery. She's feeling better than she ever has. She was constantly bleeding, and she had horrible cramps, and both are completely gone now.
There are risks with any surgery, but the doctors will go over everything with her before they operate, and they'll do everything possible to make her comfortable. Hang in there. I know it's hard to see a family member go through this, but she should be better off in the long run if they take care of this now.
