How many days it takes to release an egg from the ovary? what is the most fertile period of a women?
I had a fibroid and it had been removed on the last year January.After that I'm trying to get pregnant and unfortunately I'm infertile. Last follicular studied which I did after my last period showed a follicle which is 22.24 mm and still it is not released from ovary.So my
question is how many days it takes to release an egg from the ovary and what is the most fertile period of a women?

The short answer is 24 hours. If live sperm were waiting at the time the egg is released that would be good. Otherwise, there is 24 hours for sperm to reach the egg; and if none do it will deteriorate, and the second half of the menstrual cycle will commence.
