Fibroid Uterine Wall
I have a fibroid in my uterine wall that 'kicks' and moves about an awful lot, I can feel it intently. I know
its a fibroid because I had a scan which determined it to be such, but i'm just wandering if to 'feel it' is normal and it moves about alot. Could i have been misdiagnosed and it's actually a cancerous growth??? Don't ask me to speak to my dr cos they are useless, I think its better to speak to someone who is actually going through what I am. Thanks
I sympathise. I haven't had the problem myself, but my mother and my grandmother both sufferred similarly to yourself. My Nanna's fibroid was so large she could feel it move when she rolled over in bed .... she actually thought it was a fossilised twin of her last child. Neither of them had a cancerous growth, they both had very large fibroids and both had hysterectomies. It is possible that your doctors are right, but to put your mind at rest why don't you go to a different doctor for a second opinion?
