fibroids embolization

Considering hysterectmy for constant pain and fibroids. Would like to hear testimonies about this treatment.?
I've had an embolization four years ago and that made my periods lighter and a myomectmy which supposedly helped me but now recently had my period for 2 weeks. I have a gyn appt. next week and will request a hysterectmy. I'm 45 and can't bear children anyway. My only hold-u[ would be possible emotional problems caused by premature menapuase. I don't feel well. Anybody have a good experience after menapause and would you recommend it?
After hysterectmy not menapause...I made a typo.
I had a hysterectomy done in early 40's for the same reason.
Best thing I ever did!
For 6 weeks I felt a bit out of sorts as my body healed, but it was not much worse than I was each period anyway, so after 6 months I was ahead!
They left my ovaries, so no menopausal symptoms, just no periods.
In case you were wondering but afraid to ask, sexual partner couldn't tell difference and if anything, I enjoyed more as no weeks here I felt "off" due to heavy flows.
