Having my period every 2 wks?? HELP!?
I have always been regular but since Nov 25th; I have had my period every 2 wks. Saw a gyno and she examined me for fibroids, none. My uterus is not enlarged either. She took blood to check my hormone levels and my thyroid. Thyroid probs don't run in my fam... I have to go back on Jan 17th for an ultrasound and to get the results of the blood wk. Has anyone experienced this? What is wrong w/ me?? I want to have another baby soon, I'm scared it won't be possible. I'm so nervous and worried, my stomach is staying in knots.
When this happened to me, I had a pelvic infection. It went back to normal after I took an antibiotic.
If your cycle has changed, and there's no medical problem causing it, going on the Pill might be a good idea. You don't have to be sexually active to go on the Pill, and you'll most likely have a period once a month. There's also a vaginal ring called the NuvaRing, that you only have to replace once a month.
