Fibroids Treatment
My doctor wants me to have a hysterectomy. I'm on Provera right now to control the bleeding...I have fibroids-
and they want to make sure the lining of my endometrius (SP?) does not get too thick (because of the bleeding). I'm not interested in a hysterectomy but as a vet, I believe that that may be my only option. Is it possible that I can get on medicaid (or something else) so I can go elsewhere and get treatment that's less radical? Thanks!
It is possible that you may need to have a hysterectomy but if you keep on with the heavy bleeding , then that would be your best bet. If you don't want any(more) kids, then I say go for it. You'll feel better.
