Hysteroscopy To Remove Fibroids
what will hapen to my sister?
My sister had fibroids removed from her uterus on wedensday through a hysteroscopy. she had been doing fine until friday night. she started hemmorhaging, and her heart rate dropped alot.
i havent gotten to go to the hospital, im stuck watching the little kids, and i havent gotten through to my brother inlaw to find out how she is and whats going on.
What do you think will happen to her? and what caused the bleeding and heart rate drop? how long will she be in the hospital
If she is hemorrhaging, she has lost a lot of blood, and that can cause your heart to slow, the good news in there is away to fix it if its her uterus, the down side is she may have to have her uterus removed (a hysterectomy) if the bleeding wound stop.
Has to why the bleeding it could be as simple as the cuts were not stitched or cauterized properly, or a infection set in, there are a number of things.
There is no way some one other than a doctor could tell you how long she will be in hospital, but I would suggest calling the hospital and asking to be transferred to her room phone, if that does not work leave a message with the front desk and ask it get delivered hospitals are very good at doing those thing.
And remember keep hope, your sister will probably be fine.
