Can birth control cause infertility problems?
I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids 2 years ago. My dr put me on birth control (Mercette/Kariva) to manage the pain they were causing. I was on them for 1 year and now my husband and I are trying to conceive (been trying 7 months). Since going off the pills I'm having a lighter and shorter period and am spotting dark brown (almost black) before my period which I've never done before. Also my BBT's have been really low..from 95.5-97.7. Has anybody had this happen after being on Mercette/Kariva or any other pills? What happened? I'm really scared that they have really messed up my system and that we won't be able to have another child ( I have a 7 year old that I had with no complications). I plan on seeing the doctor soon but am freaking out in the meantime!!
