What medication can shrink a fibroid?

A uterine fibroid.

There is a process being cased now called uterine artery embolization that uses polyvinyl alcohol particles to cut off blood supply to the fibroid area rendering it necrotic and causing it to pass.

You can also elect to have a progestin shot (Depo-Provera) that will reduce the associated bleeding and can shrink the fibroid as well, but will not complete resolve to asymptomatic condition.

Of course, onset of menopause will also cause the fibroid to shrink due to the reduction in hormones, but will also not render to asymptomatic condition.
